 Cathie is Breakthrough's resident foreigner as she was born in Canada. She and her family came to Alaska for vacation in 1997 and fell in love with the state and never left.
With over 20 years of medical office experience, she joined the Breakthrough staff in 2000. Cathie is helping us grow and become better at the task of helping others join recovery.
Cathie is a very multi-talented staff member involved in many aspects of the Breakthrough program, i.e. utilization review, insurance, policies and procedures, BLS training, computer consultant, and facilitates all new paperwork and monitors the treatment charts. Cathie also assists the director with special projects and outcome surveys. She is always ready to help staff and clients with their numerous questions.
