Dealing with Bipolar Disorder

Dealing with Bipolar Disorder

The Langdon Clinic offers a group for adults diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. The group will focus on education, coping skills and support for people affected by the disorder. A component will also be offered for family or significant others involved with someone having the illness, with the goal to increase awareness and offer coping skills to them as well.

Therapists Fay Reilly, RN, ANP, PhD and Marilyn Kerr, LCSW, will facilitate the group.  Dr. Reilly's expertise includes both medication management and therapy. Ms. Kerr primarily does individual therapy, and has also worked with families and groups.

The group will meet Tuesdays for ten sessions, beginning September 20 and completing November 22,  2005. It will be held at Langdon Clinic, 4001 Dale Street, suite 101 on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:45 PM. Charge for the group will be $100 per session. The clinic will bill insurance for these sessions as a courtesy. Most private insurance, TriWest, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted by the clinic.

Contact Fay Reilly or Marilyn Kerr to discuss participation. They may be contacted at 550-2300 Monday through Friday.
