ImPACT Concussion Management Program

Take the necessary steps to protect your child’s most valuable asset…their brain. Following a blow to the head, symptoms such as “seeing stars,” “having their bell rung,” or appearing “foggy” can be signs of a concussion. Returning your child to play too early can result in serious, long-term problems with their thinking, behavior, and mood.

A computerized concussion screening test is your first step toward protecting your child’s brain.  ImPACT™ is considered the state-of-the-art concussion identification/management tool used for the majority of teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, as well as college sport programs and more than 10,000 school districts across the nation.

Providence is proud to announce its new Concussion Management Program featuring the ImPACT™ test. Anchorage School District football players will be the first athletes in the state to take the Baseline ImPACT test online. This program will help identify sports concussions so they can be properly managed and your child can safely return to play.

This 20-minute test could make the difference in your child’s future whether your child plays hockey, skis, or enjoys Alaska on a snowmachine or four-wheeler.
Sign up today by calling 212-2673.
