Although cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases are chronic, progressive conditions, you can control many of the factors that make them worse.

Healthy Heart Exam
For individuals interested in preventing heart attack and stroke, the Healthy Heart Exam:

raises personal awareness of risk factors

motivates moderate to high-risk individuals to take action that lowers risk

detects high-risk individuals
-
prompts referral to doctors for follow-up.
The Healthy Heart Exam includes:

a resting ECG
-
a heart risk questionnaire
-
a cholesterol and blood sugar profile
-
blood pressure assessment
-
assessment of heart attack/stroke risk.
Results are mailed to you. You may request that a copy be mailed to your doctor.

Cardiovascular Rehabilitation
Education and individualized exercise therapy program for persons with recent cardiovascular events such as heart attack, heart surgery or angioplasty/stent. Physician referral required. Length of program and cost varies per individual program and is billed to insurance. Education sessions are free. Call 425-261-3780 for next orientation date and time.
Heart and Stroke Education and Support Group
This is a monthly educational and support group for patients and graduates of the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation program, stroke patients, and other people interested in the treatment and prevention of heart disease and stroke. A catered meal is available for a $5 donation per person. Please call 425-261-3780 for dates and times and to be added to our mailing list.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
This is an education and individualized exercise therapy program for persons with lung disease. Physician referral is required. Program length is two sessions per week for 8-12 weeks. Cost varies per individual program and is billed to insurance. Call 425-261-3780 for next orientation date and time.
Lung Rangers Education and Support Group
Lung Rangers is a monthly educational and support group for patients and graduates of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program and other interested people. Please call 425-261-3780 for dates and times.
Stop Smoking Tool Shop
This class series provides you with the tools needed to quit smoking. You'll learn how to identify quitting barriers and develop strategies to overcome them. Please call 425-261-3780 for date, time and cost.
