Residency: Mercy Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Family Practice Residency Program, affiliated with the University of Southern California Board Certification: American Board of Family Medicine Dr. McKinney enjoys caring for people of all ages and has particular interest in adolescent medicine, geriatrics and preventive care. As an osteopathic physician, she emphasizes preventive medicine and concentrates on treating the whole person, instead of specific symptoms. She has also volunteered for medical mission work through Flying Doctors of America and with the homeless. She recently moved here from Arizona, where she formerly ran a solo rural family practice. She enjoys painting, reading, hiking and exploring the world with her family.
