In addition to his nearly nine years in practice, Dr. Dieter Schmidt has extensive educational training including two internships, two residencies, and two board certifications in dermatology. Dr. Schmidt is also fellowship trained in Mohs Micrographic surgery, a specialized technique of skin cancer removal resulting in the highest cure rates for the most common types of skin cancer.
Dr. Schmidt moved from Colorado to the Puget Sound area in 2005 with his wife and two sons. He enjoys sailing, fishing, hiking, camping, and returning to his native home in South Africa to go on safari.
