Kimberly Pierson, a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), has recently joined Providence Physician Group Dermatology. To help meet the needs of our growing practice, Kimberly is providing comprehensive dermatology services including the screening and treatment of skin cancer. In addition, Kimberly has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology including procedures such as Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, and Intense Pulse Light.
Kimberly earned her Physician Assistant degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She has over twelve years of formal clinical experience including both family medicine and women’s health care. Kimberly gained her expertise in dermatology through both working side-by-side with dermatologists and attending national training and forums available through the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is currently completing 12 months of comprehensive instruction—modeled after a typical dermatology residency program—with Dieter Schmidt, MD.
