The Providence Thoracic Oncology Program is made up of a multidisciplinary team led by John Handy, M.D., thoracic surgeon, and Rachel E. Sanborn, M.D., medical oncology. Additional key program staff include Kelly Denniston, RHIT, data manager, and Cathy Betzer, program assistant.
Multidisciplinary specialists who are members of the team include: pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists and cancer researchers.
