Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center cares for more MS patients than any other facility in the state. A team of MS experts, including neurologists, nurses, therapists and researchers, offer patients therapy. The center is a leading participant in regional, national and international clinical trials.

The center is an affiliated partner with the Oregon chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, bringing more resources to patients and families throughout Oregon.

Program manager Chiayi Chen wins health care writing award

Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center Program Manager, Chiayi Chen, has earned the 2009 Nursing Economic$/Margaret Sovie Writer's Award. Chen's co-authored article, "Evaluation of a Nurse-Practitioner Led Care Management Model in Reducing Inpatient Drug Utilization and Cost," was published in the May-June 2009 volume of Nursing Economic$.
