Requesting Archival Records, Historical Information or Photographs

researcher

The Archives responds to inquiries relating to the religious community of the Sisters of Providence, Mother Joseph Province. Ministries in health care, education, and social services were founded in the western United States: Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and California. For states not mentioned here, refer to other Providence congregations.

The staff cannot conduct extensive research for persons outside of the religious community and its institutions. As private archives, some records are confidential and access to them is restricted. See Personal Records for availability of records relating to patients and students.
