Medical Inpatient Rehabilitation Program at Providence St. Peter Hospital Receives Three-Year Accreditation
OLYMPIA—CARF has awarded a three-year accreditation to the medical inpatient rehabilitation program at Providence St. Peter Hospital. CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that conducts on-site reviews to determine how well programs meet internationally recognized standards of service and quality.
Accreditation is based on achieving standards in areas such as organizational leadership, management and quality, information and outcomes management, the rehabilitation process, and Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs (CIIRP).
After conducting an on-site review, CARF surveyors found Providence St. Peter Hospital’s medical inpatient rehabilitation program meets or exceeds all standards. Only 3 percent of programs surveyed by CARF achieve this result. For more information, visit www.carf.org.
If you think you may be a candidate to receive inpatient medical rehabilitation, please ask your physician for a referral for a no charge screening to see if you meet the program admission criteria. For information about the referral process, visit us online or call 360/493-4402.
Providence St. Peter Hospital, founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1887, is a not-for-profit, 390-bed hospital serving the five-county South Sound region with comprehensive medical, surgical and mental health services.
