Providence Newberg Medical Center has four comprehensive operating rooms available on a 24-hour basis. Three are located in surgical services and the fourth is located on the second floor in The Birth Center. Surgeons here perform a variety of operatory services, including arthroscopy, cardiac pacemakers, C-sections, gastrointestinal surgery and several types of orthopedic surgery - including joint and hip replacement. Our surgery center also has two medical procedure units for such things at bronchoscopy and gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures.

Day Surgery provides pre-and post-operative care to pediatric and adult patients requiring same-day surgeries. Examples include tonsillectomies, hernia repairs and breast biopsies. This area also provides advanced eye surgery as well as same-day chemotherapy for patients requiring intravenous treatment.
