Programwork Modules

We have developed weekly modules to help you familiarize yourself with group therapy expectations, answer questions about addiction, and clarify the problems that you would like to work on while in treatment. While these modules follow the 18-week IOP treatment schedule, they are very helpful as a guide while in any of Breakthrough's programs.

 •   Module 1: Introduction to recovery
 •   Module 2: An introduction to the concept of support groups
 •   Module 3: Knowledge of the disease of addiction
 •   Module 4: Understanding some of the early changes within the body
 •   Module 5: Mind-body-soul connection
 •   Module 6: Identifying triggers/urges
 •   Module 7: Solutions for managing stress
 •   Module 8:  Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome
 •   Module 9: Ways you can take care of our body
 •   Module 10: Developing a lifestyle of recovery
 •   Module 11: A family affair--learn about roles

Chemical dependency is a disease process that has a devastating effect on the family. We at Breakthrough understand that the treatment of an individual must include the treatment of the family as well.  We offer a  Family Program Handbook to help you and others.
