Eric Taylor M.D. works for PBMG/Langdon as the clinic's consultation/liaison psychiatrist at the hospital. The majority of Dr. Taylor's practice involves his hospital work with patients and aiding other physicians in caring for patients with concomitant mental issues. Since returning to Alaska in 2002, he has received his Board Certification in Psychiatry.
Dr. Taylor was born in Kodiak, Alaska. He received his undergraduate degree in Connecticut. He also completed a masters degree at the University of Alabama in Physical Therapy and was later appointed to the adjunct faculty of the University in physical Therapy. He did his medical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and he stayed at that institution for his psychiatric training. While a resident, Dr. Taylor received a number of honors and scholarships for academic excellence. He had several articles published during that period as well. Dr. Taylor has become active in medical staff issues and is presently on the medical staff executive committee as the treasurer of the medical staff.
