Fay Reilly, RN, ANP, PhD

 

Dr. Fay Reilly is both a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut and Master degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi with a focus on psychiatric nursing. Dr. Reilly received a PhD in Nursing from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing with a dissertation focusing on the elderly. Her post-doctoral fellowship was with the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Reilly generated a significant number of publications during her academic years.

Dr. Reilly came to Alaska in 1993 and worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at UAA for five years. Her focus was on training nursing students in mental health and psychiatric nursing. She has been involved with the Providence system since 1996. Initially, she worked in the Emergency Department evaluating Psychiatric emergencies. She then worked for the Providence Home Health Agency, developing their program for psychiatric home healthcare. She then also functioned as a practitioner in that program.

Dr. Reilly has worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Langdon since 1999. She has a diverse caseload of adult patients. Dr. Reilly has also performed consultations in a variety of settings.
