Helen Craig is a Licensed Social Worker who has been with Langdon Clinic since 1977. Ms. Craig received her Bachelor degree in Sociology from the Augustana College in Illinois. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois and has been Licensed in Alaska since 1994. Ms. Craig has been an instructor for UAA in their Social Work Program and she has been certified by the American Board of Examiners for Clinical Social Workers since 1987.
Ms. Craig has over thirty years of experience working with both adults and adolescents in individual, group, marital and family treatment modalities. She was an active part of the team at Langdon who contracted with the Department of Corrections to develop and run a Correctional Sex Offender Program. Since the end of that program, Ms. Craig has also worked extensively with victims of sexual assault and families of incest. Her current focus is treating individuals with depression, eating disorders and identity issues.
