Before Your Appointment

There are many things that can influence brain functioning or cause impairment. The neuropsychologist's will identify those conditions and factors.

As a patient, it's your job to avoid any outside factors that may influence testing and assessment. This can include stress.

It is helpful to have all your questions and concerns answered before testing, please call our office about any concerns.

Physical stress can also affect brain functioning so it's important to be aware of your body's influence on your neurological condition. Here are some suggestions to make your assessment as easy and as effective as possible:
Call the day before to verify any last minute instructions or questions
Bring in all paperwork given to you by your referring healthcare provider

Take all prescribed medication as prescribed

Get a full night's sleep
Eat breakfast and lunch
