Shelly Jacobs has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. Professional work experiences include providing eating disorder treatment to inpatient and outpatient clients, working with the dually diagnosed (mentally ill and chemically addicted), providing case management and crisis intervention services to children and families, and working with adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety and depressive disorders.
Presently, she is providing individual and group counseling services to adolescents and adults. She is trained in the use of EMDR as well as biofeedback. She uses neurofeedback in the treatment of attentional problems as well as anxiety.
