The current 28-room facility can no longer meet the demand for lodging, particularly as more and more medical treatments, such as cancer therapy, are done on an outpatient basis.
The new Providence Hickel House will provide 43 guest rooms and new amenities and services to help ease the physical and emotional stress of medical treatments on guests. The design of the building emphasizes its beautiful, natural setting along Chester Creek—a relaxing and restful reminder of home for many families and patients.
