To Make Local Calls
From your room, dial 9 + the 7-digit number you would like to call. All local calls are free. Calling Long Distance
Calls may not be billed to your room. Long distance calls must be made collect or with a calling card. To place a collect call, dial 00 for the operator and ask to be connected to an outside operator. Calling within Medical Center
If you know the number, just dial the last four digits. If you don't know the number, dial 00 to reach the operator for assistance. Directory Assistance
From your room, dial 9 + 411, There is no charge for directory assistance. Incoming Calls
Phone calls for you will be transferred to your room by the hospital operator. Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m., all calls will be sent to your nurse’s station first. If you are in adult critical care unit or pediatrics intensive care unit, all calls will be sent to your nursing station they will forward to your room as appropriate. Your family and friends can call you in your room by calling our main medical center number at 562-2211. |
