Providence on Health Care Reform

Message from Alaska CEO Al Parrish

Most of us agree that health care in our nation is broken. It simply costs too much and many lack access to care. We at Providence believe that health care is a basic human right and that everyone should be able to access quality care, no matter what their income, who they work for, or where they live.   Providence has been working with our congressional leaders to put forward a vision for reforming the health care system that focuses on four key values: access, quality, affordability and accountability. Learn more about our positions on health care reform here.

Health care is a complex industry and the proposals in Washington, D.C. are likewise lengthy and complex. But success in passing the right kind of reform, reform that will increase access, improve quality, lower cost and build in accountability, requires the active involvement of all of us. Below are links to news, information and events to help you add your voice to this important debate.
