The Advisory Council for the Children's Hospital is group of deeply committed community members and hospital staff who meet regularly to discuss long-range plans, advise the executive director and assistant chief nurse executive on program delivery, and serves as financial stewards of the money that is donated to the Children's Hospital through the Children's Miracle network.
An Advisory Council member also maintains a seat on the Providence Health System's Regional Board, serving as a liaison and representative of the concerns and needs of the Children's Hospital.
The current chair, Janelle Pfleiger, teams with Dr. Richard Mandsager, Executive Director, and Ms. Cindy Alkire, Assistant Chief Nurse Executive in the direction of the Board.
