Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Generally, bedtime routines are started at 9 p.m. and visitors other than family members are encouraged to go home in order to give the patient adequate rest time.  We ask that you follow these guidelines when visiting:

  • Visitors may not smoke in patient rooms or anywhere on the hospital campus.
  • Visitors with colds, sore throats, or any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
  • Keep visits reasonable in length to allow for adequate rest for the patient.
  • Please maintain a quiet environment when visiting.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room during a test or treatment or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.

Gifts for Patients
Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink to patients. On the Adult Critical Care Unit, please check with the nurse regarding any gifts for patients. Flowers are not allowed in the Adult Critical Care Unit.

Balloons
Only mylar balloons are permitted; no rubber or latex balloons are allowed in medical center due to concerns about allergic reactions.

Cell Phones
For the safety of our patients, cell phones may not be used in patient care areas. They must be turned off, not just placed on standby. Signals from these devices can interfere with patient care equipment and put patients in danger.

Banking
An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is located in the entry area of the main hospital lobby near the revolving door, as well as in the cafeteria.

Chapel
Our chapel is available 24 hours a day for you and your family. It is located on the first floor next to the D elevator. Catholic Mass is held daily at 11:30 a.m. expect for Saturdays. The Chapel is also used for other worship services on special occasions. For more information, please contact the spiritual care staff at ext. 2990.
