 Providence Alaska Wound Center at Providence Alaska Medical Center is a multidisciplinary service dedicated to serving the wound care needs of all Alaskans. Our team is composed of caring people representing specialties in Nursing, Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing, Physical Therapy, Dietary, Social Service and Discharge Planning.
We provide care consistent with the current national wound care standards. Registered nurses and physical therapists experienced in wound care conduct the initial evaluation. Protocols have been developed through current attendance at wound care conferences and are reviewed by the medical director.
