The Emergency Department is set up to handle any type of medical emergency. Specialized treatment rooms are available for cardiac care, trauma, suturing, orthopedic casting, pediatrics, general care, gynecology and obstetrics, and ear, nose and throat exams. Fast Track Emergency Services
Now, there is a faster way to receive non-emergency medical care after hours in the Providence Emergency Department. With the Fast Track Program physicians are on hand exclusively for those with more minor injuries and illnesses. That means patients are seen faster...typically within 10 minutes of arrival, and are on their way home in an hour or less. Fast Track to Basic Care gives you quick access to professional medical attention from 9:30 a.m. until midnight seven days a week.
