Providence Puff-Ins Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Providence Puffins Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an education and exercise program designed for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).    Pulmonary Rehabilitation provides patients and their families with information and support needed to meet the day-to-day challenges of living with COPD. Physical therapists and nurses with extensive pulmonary and cardiac experience administer the program.

Participants in the 10-week Pulmonary Rehabilitation program receive individual instruction tailored to their functional ability, current pulmonary status, and degree of physical fitness.   The information learned in class thoroughly covers management of debilitating lung disease, emphasizing how patient can control the symptoms of COPD and live successfully with it.
