The Providence Palliative Care Team recognizes that serious illness and the approaching end-of-life bring the fundamental questions of life, of meaning, and of spirituality to the forefront of every day for the patient, their family members, and their caregivers.
We are committed to supporting the spiritual needs at this important time in a patient’s life, and the Palliative Care Team will work closely with the Spiritual Care staff and the patient’s own community to make sure that religious and spiritual traditions and freedom are respected and honored.
