Dietary Services
One tray is served to the mother at each meal except when you are in labor.
- Meal times on the Prenatal Unit are: 8:00a.m., 12:00 noon, and 5:45 p.m.
- Meal times on the Mother Baby Unit are: 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Clinical Dietitians are available to discuss your diet. Ask your nurse how to contact these services.
After your baby is born, enjoy a congratulations meal for you and your partner. This is just one way we say Congratualtions on the birth of your new baby.
Snack Cart
Because we know moms get hungry more often than just meal times, a special snack cart filled with juices, fresh fruit, cookies, pudding, and sandwiches will make rounds twice a day.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria, serving a delicious variety of hot and cold foods, is available for the convienence of your family and friends. It is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Snacks and beverages can also be purchased from vending machines located throughout the hospital.
Rose Room Cafe
Visitors are also invited to use the Rose Room Cafe in the lower level of the Providence Medical Office Building. The Rose Room offers lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays.
Coffee Carts
Several coffee carts are available throughout the hospital serving a variety of specialty drinks.
