Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.  New moms need lots of rest.  Please limit the number of visitors and the length of their stay so you can get some much needed and well deserved rest.

Visiting Guidelines
All vistors are asked to abide by the following rules:

  • No smoking anywhere in the medical center.  There are designated smoking areas outside.
  • Visitors with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases should not visit any patient
  • All cell phones must be turned OFF while in the medical center
  • No latex balloons are allowed in the medical center.  Mylar balloons are fine.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
  • Visitors should maintain a quiet environment

Confidentiality
In order to respect your confidentiality, no hospital staff can give any information about your condition to any visitor.  This includes information such as whether you have delivered your baby or not. 

Banking
An Automated Teller Machine is located in the entry area of the main hospital lobby as well as next to the cafeteria.

Chapel
The chapel is available 24 hours  a day.  Regularly scheduled worship servies include Catholic Mass daily at 11:30 a.m., interdenominational worship Sundays at 2 p.m., and memorial services on or for special occasions.  Televised worship services are shown on Channel 9.  For more information, call pastoral care at 261-3275.

Providence House
Providence House is an on-site residential facility available to friends or family members from out of town who want to stay near loved ones in the medical center.  Providence House offers a warm, supportive atmosphere and provides an alternative to a costly extended hotel stay.  Ask your nurse for more information or call Providence House directly by dialing 261-4949.
