Teen Parents Now!

This is a 13 week class series for teen parents.  Single parents and couples are both welcome to come.  Bring your baby, too!  Childcare is offered.  We’ll meet for 2 ½ hrs once a week.  There will be food to eat and food for thought.  We will have fun together!

At the end of this class series, you will receive a record of attendance that may be turned in to your school for .25 high school elective credit.  Please tell the Teen Parents Now! teacher if you want this class to count for high school credit, they will be able to help you with that.

Being a parent is an awesome job.  It is one of the most difficult, challenging and rewarding experiences that life offers.  In Teen Parents Now! you will:

• learn what to do to take care of you, so you can care of your baby
• learn what your baby is telling you
• find out what to do when things go wrong
• find your parenting style and values
• take a closer look at your new life as a parent and discover how to make parenting a pleasure
• build a support network with other teen parents

Group size is limited to 10-20 teen parents.

Cost: $25/family (single or couple) for the entire class series (scholarships are available)

Children & Parenting
Children need love, shelter, safety, clothing, food and support. But that's not all. They also need to learn, early on, habits that are good for their health.
