The Maternity Center at Providence welcomes more than 60 sets of twins and triplets into the world every year! That's just the kind of experience you want to guide you through your pregnancy and beyond. Whether you need routine prenatal testing such as ultrasounds or you require hospital bed rest in our prenatal unit, we are here to help you throughout your pregnancy.
Be sure to sign up for "Expecting Mulitples". This class, taught by mothers of twins, is designed specially for moms expecting more than one baby. The class covers topics such as recognizing pre-term labor, staying pregnant as long as possible, nutrition, labor and birth as well as breastfeeding twins and surviving the early weeks at home--with style!
The Maternity Center is also proud to sponsor Double Cuddles--a parent baby group just for families with multiples. The group meets every first & third Tuesday of the month from 1:30-2:30 pm in the Maternity Center Teaching room. It is free and you do not need to sign up ahead of time. Pregnant families are welcome as well.
