An endocrinologist is a specially trained doctor who diagnoses and treats diseases that affect your glands and formone levels (endocrine system).  Some of thise disorders are diabetes, growth failure, thyroid disease, delayed or early puberty, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Turner's syndrojme and Klinefelter's syndrome.

  • Multidisciplinary clinical staff of pediatric endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, endorine nurse and dieticians.
  • Both inpatient and outpatient consultation, evaluation, management and education of endocrine disorders are available.

The endocrine system is one of the body's main systems for communicating, controlling and coordinating the body's work.  The endocrine system is made up of organs called glands that produce hormones.  Hormones work witht he nervous system, reproductive system, kidneys, stomach, liver and pancreas to control the following:
