Providence Valdez Medical Center
Providence Valdez Medical Center provides quality inpatient and outpatient health care to patients, residents and visitors with an array of local services. It's an 11 acute care/swing-bed facility. Our team of physicians, nurses, and support staff deliver compassionate, quality care to all patients.
Providence Valdez Extended Care Center
This year, the facility has opened its new, state and Medicaid-licensed and federally certified 10-bed nursing home. Kanute Rarey, hospital administrator, said, “We pride ourselves on our exceptional team of professionals; quality patient, resident and client services; top-notch medical care; tasty meals; and clean, comfortable rooms.”
Providence Valdez Behavioral Health
Providence Valdez Behavioral Health provides compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults. The center consists of a psychiatrist, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, professional therapists, certified drug counselors, and case managers.
Providence was proud to welcome Valdez into its family on January 1, 2005. The City of Valdez owns the medical facility and Providence now manages it on the city's behalf.
