Dear Families,
The Center for Child Development will no longer continue our summer camp program, Camp Providence. I want to thank you and your children for your participation. I especially want to thank my amazing management team, staff and coordinators Anita Leamy, Anna Castillo, Annie Staudenmaier and our Camp Providence founder, Jen Aist. Jen restructured our program in 1997 to reflect a real camp experience, involving middle school and high school counselor training programs. We cherish the memories, relationships and camaraderie shared through the last 10 years.
I would like to recognize the many Camp Prov counselors for their care and supervision of our campers and for enhancing and developing the camper's confidence and self esteem!
The Center for Child Development will provide our employees, and non employees with information on local summer programs in the Anchorage area for 2008. This will be available after February, 2008 on our web site and on site at CCD. (www.providence.org/alaska/communtiy/ccd)
