Providence Bridge Pedal 2009

Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009

Providence Bridge Pedal 2009 Poster "Perfectly Portland" is what The Oregonian called Providence Bridge Pedal. This annual tradition is a community celebration of Portland, the Willamette River bridges and bicycling.

It is your one opportunity each year to bicycle across all of Portland’s bridges from the Sellwood to the St. Johns, including the top decks of the Marquam and Fremont bridges. With bike rides of 38, 24 and 14 miles there are ride options for every skill level.

Not a cyclist? Join us for Providence Stride, a five-mile walk starting in downtown Portland and crossing the top deck of the Fremont Bridge.

Party in the Park

The Providence Bridge Pedal Health and Wellness Expo is on the move. This year our annual expo will be located at the Oregon Square, adjacent to the Northeast Seventh Avenue MAX stop within Fareless Square. This new venue offers a park-like setting, additional parking, and more space for health education, the latest in bicycling gear and packet pick-up.
