FACILITIES & PROGRAMS

Oregon is home to several Providence medical centers offering jobs at hospitals in Oregon. In general, the facilities are located in six areas: Hood River, Medford, Mt. Angel, Newberg, Portland and Seaside.

  • Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital has served the Columbia River Gorge since 1924. Over the last 80 years the hospital has grown to offer the region a wide range of medical services, including a 24/7 Emergency Department, Family Birth Center, Cardio and Cancer Centers, Imaging, Laboratory and a Mobile Health Unit.
  • The Providence Medford Medical Center is a 168-bed acute and outpatient facility with private rooms, state-of-the-art technology and a newly expanded Emergency Department. The Medical Center offers the surrounding communities access to best possible care in southern Oregon.
  • The Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mt. Angel has provided care to the community for sixty years. In addition to delivering nursing care in a loving, supportive environment, the Center also provides Rehabilitation Services, Home Health Care and a Child Development Center.
  • In June 2006 the Providence Newberg Medical Center opened its doors. This new, state-of-the-art, three-story building is the “greenest” hospital on the West Coast. Every patient room has natural light and the ventilation system does not recycle air in the building so the air you breathe is 100 percent fresh. The new Medical Center replaces the older Providence Newberg Hospital. The new Medical Center continues the caring tradition of the old hospital, offering an Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Women’s Health Services and the latest technology in Imaging and Surgery.
  • Providence has three Medical Centers in the Portland area: Providence Portland Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and the Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
    • The Providence Portland Medical Center is a comprehensive facility recognized for excellence in patient care and research for its programs in cardiovascular care, cancer care, orthopedics and women’s health. Providence Portland Medical Center has received prestigious Magnet designation from ANCC.
    • The Providence St. Vincent Medical Center offers comprehensive care services and is a designated nurse magnet facility, having received Magnet Recognition for Excellence in Nursing Services form the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
    • Right outside of Portland, there’s the Providence Milwaukie Hospital. It’s a community facility that offers preventive services, both inpatient and outpatient services and state-of-the-art technology.
  • The Providence Seaside Hospital is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountain Range. Providence Seaside Hospital offers a continuum of care, including Emergency Services, Birthing Center, Diagnostic Laboratory, Cancer Care and Imaging. The hospital is fully staffed year round and rises to meet the challenge of a fluctuating population (5,600 people to over 40,000 in the summer).
