Better outcomes for head and neck cancers treated at Providence Cancer Center

A recent retrospective study finds a 96 percent two-year survival for people with advanced head and neck cancers treated at Providence with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). These outcomes far exceed historical averages, which range between 30 to 60 percent.
