Dr. Davidson is an excellent pulmonologist, I have been seeing him for a year and a half for my asthma and sleep apnea. He always listens and explains everything perfectly.

I left my appointment and literally asled my spouse.."did I just get fired by my Pulmonologist?"... YES, yes I did. he has seen me twice EVER. he couldnt look at me while asking questions because he was busy reading my file, instead of knowing my history. i understand that he sees hundreds to thousands of patients... but he could at least act like he was interested. He acted Angry, Irritated, inconvenienced and dismissive. the first visit he said he didnt want to change any of my medications because the Allergy Asthma specialist had prescribed them. This visit I was told the changes the Allergy Asthma specialist was wrong to make changes to the medications I take. I found myself confused and feeling belittled by the end of the visit. I have been discharged from his care. I was given the option to continue to recieve my [...] injections at the office and see his nurse, [...], who is always WONDERFUL. I chose to return to[...] for all of my care, even though the clinic is not in network for my insurance and will cost a considerable bit more money, because Frankly I never want to see this provider again.

THe doctor was very knowledgeable but I felt that he didn't really listen to me. I have many side effects from medications and I do feel he gave me options on how to deal with these side effects

It appears that this provider is not very familiar with my condition which I admit it is complicated, both previous providers at this department were very knowledgeable and immediately knew what to do. It is a bit difficult to communicate with this provider, he is a bit one track mind and cannot be interrupted at all with extra information that to me it is pertinent and important. He did not believe that the new medicine [...] was the cause of my severe pain in the upper body joints shoulders, arms and shoulder blades. But he did say that he respected my choice to stop the drug. He also said something that contradicts both previous providers that left the department and was a major concern of my previous allergy doctor, (who also left this city), showing to me that he might not fully understand my condition yet. Other than that he is very thorough and detailed oriented doctor and takes time to explain his point of view. [...]
