P/A is alright at listening, not the best. Appears to be interested in what she is bringing to the appointment. Has never asked what this person does for exercise so was quite surprised when I lifted lower pant leg to see the level of muscle that existed. [...]

If Mackenzie Epler was available as a general practitioner or doctor internal medicine - She would be my provider of choice. Much more thorough than most - instills confidence. A REAL GEM!

Mackenzie is an excellent physicians assistant; I recommend her highly. She is not however, my neurologist. My neurologist is Dr. [...]. I know that Dr. [...] over sees my case and that she supervises Mackenzie. I understand that her time is limited. I remain [...] that she and I are not in a direct doctor & patient relationship. If she has tried to have a more direct professional relationship with me, I have no guidance of that. If Dr. [...] were to relocate her practice, I would, if feasible, remain her patient. I feel that my relationship with Mackenzie is "excellent", I cannot, however see myself remaining as her patient if she moved while Dr. [...] remained here. I want Dr. [...]'s direct attention at times and for her to show that she knows me and is involved in my care. [...]

My PCP write appropriate referrals - no problem. Unfortunately, there are many more patients inn need of neurology referrals and insufficient numbers of providers to meet the demand. All neurology offices in the area have extensive wait times for new patient appointments. My wait was >5 months, during which pain and functional loss was significant. It would have been the same or longer for other neurology specialists. As an established patient now, there is NEVER a problem getting prompt assistance, appointments, medication refills, and/or questions answered. I have already recommended this practice to three friends. This provider is outstanding in every way.

I will not go back to this provider. She was very flippant, insensitive, and did not take the time a provider should with a patient. She clearly did not read my medical history at all.
