It took 5 months to get an appointment. From January 2017 to May 2017. My work comp case was closed because I could not get an appointment, and occupational health would not take my case because it was over 10 yrs old. I wish he would have been honest from the start, that he did not want to care for me, instead of stringing me along for 5 months - then dropping me.

Went too fast for someone my age (69). I am a combat vet. He needed to acknowledge that and respect that.

The time lapse from w/my dr. made referral until I was able to get an appointment was very frustrating. I needed to be seen sooner not later and feel like my condition was taken serious until I got in then the seriousness was realized.

I am so happy with Dr. Brewington, after the operation I didn't have the awful pain in my legs that I had before the operation!

Post surgical restrictions somewhat unclear, especially re: how to determine if I was overdoing activities related to my restrictions, and how great the danger of disturbing the alignment of fused vertibraes, how to recognize if something like that happened, and what could be done if it did. I.e. how to tell if something was amiss. Since I was not examined or xrayed for 6 weeks after surgery, I had no clue if things were going well or disastrously. That caused unneeded anxiety especially for my wife. She was afraid that even a minor amount of twisting or bending could potentially result in something as severe as paralysis or permanent nerve pain. Obviously, we wanted to avoid any risk of that, but I also wanted to be able to be able to do as much of my normal activities of daily living as possible without risk of injury, or unsuccessful surgical outcome.

He is arrogant and insensitive. However, the only thing we needed him to be was a top notch neurosurgeon, and he was.
