Dr. Bax provided excellent information about my problem and offered excellent advice.

Dr. Bax was very knowledgeable on my condition, achalasia. We were very impressed with him, cause not too many doctors know of achalasia. We feel very thankful to have found him, cause we did not want to go back to Seattle.

Dr Bac listens and focuses on us. He answers the questions we had at the time, particularly the impact on me as a kidney transplant recipient.

Dr. Bax was very thorough. He thought my condition may be due to a sinus condition and recommended I see an ENT, but if I received no resolution to come back for a PH procedure.

Dr Bax was very respectful. Having never met him before, he walked in and introduced himself right away. He had my records (most of them, anyway) and carefully reviewed the results of gi tests that I've had over the past several years, explaining the relevance to the question at hand today. Then explained the procedure for which I had been referred, and why that may not be useful to me. He went on to explain various other options to consider until we settled on a plan. I left feeling that I had a much better understanding of my situation, and why he recommended the path that we agreed to.

This visit was a post-op visit for surgery performed a month before the visit. Though Dr Bax was only available for a couple of days after my surgery and for the follow up visit, as well as being the on call doctor when I had to be readmitted a week after I was released from the hospital, I feel that he has taken care of me in the best possible way.

I like Dr Bax. He took time to answer questions and explain procedure he was to schedule.
