Treated well. Didn't feel rushed. Discussed shingles vaccine and why the one being released in Spring 2018 would be a better fit for me. Thanks!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Bumstead - I feel blessed to have been in her care for all these years. She has common sense, she is a wonderful diagnostician, and I always feel confident in her care. She recommended 2 tests be added to my 6 month blood draw for my rheumatologist, and it has already been added for next January. She works with my providers so I never have to worry about something falling through the cracks. I have the utmost confidence in her care.

I am a complicated patient and nothing is normal or routine with me. This makes it tough to rely on any one provider for everything as most are trained to only look for normal and routine problems. This may work for 90% of patients, but when you are one of the 10% of patients with unusual problems, it makes getting the right diagnosis nearly impossible. Dr. Bumstead is wonderful about trying to help me figure everything out though. She seems to be taking the time to learn about things she isn't quite sure of and encourages me to seek out alternative solutions to problems when traditional medicine fails. She listens to me and takes note of things that I have discovered which help me or have negative effects and seems committed to continually learning because one thing the best doctors in the world know, is that they don't know everything. The best doctors keep an open mind and don't talk down to their patients with an attitude of 'I know everything and you don't know anything' which I have unfortunately experienced a lot more of than ever should be allowed! She's also very good at offering me alternatives when I make a suggestion that she doesn't quite agree with or if she has a better idea and explaining her reasoning behind it so that I understand it too. And she has taken the time to learn about me as a person and not just a medical file so she can take my whole picture into account when she makes recommendations. These are unfortunately rare but excellent traits to find in a doctor and I feel very lucky to have finally found a doctor I can feel comfortable and confident with. I appreciate being given options and explanations behind them but also being listened to and allowed to make my own decisions and have them respected. More doctors could learn from her! I continually fear the day she retires and I'm forced to find another primary care provider because of the shockingly long history I have had with doctors that belittled me, did not listen or really care. or I finally got comfortable with them and then they moved away, changed practices to some place I was unable to follow, retired or stopped practicing altogether.

Great care provider but always seems to be quite a long wait during an appointment. I was at the office about 2 hours for a routine physical that probably shouldn't have taken more than 30-45 minutes total.

The doctor is very good but not easy to get an appointment with unless you schedule well in advance. I would recommend her with this caution.

I do recommend Dr B, but for selfish reasons, I don't want to because she is very busy, making it hard to get appointments. It would be nice if she could be cloned. She is an exceptional, down to earth person, easy to talk with and is very caring. I think she is a fantastic doctor.

Dr. Bumstead is absolutely amazing! She consistently remembers my medical history, talks through my options with me, and gives me the confidence to make decisions! This dr. goes above and beyond each visit I see her. I have recommended her to family and friends because everyone should have a medical provider this caring.

Doctor said the virus should last 3-5 additional days (over 11 days already). After 8 additional days, I called and talked to the nurse - she recommended Mucinex DM and warm water with honey & lemon which I tried and now am feeling better. Maybe this helped or maybe I just waited it out long enough.
