Very informative however, I had some difficulty understanding the information given because of speed & accent.

I found Dr. "C" not very approachable. I think he would benefit from having his nurse help in translation of what he is trying to communicate. I am hard of hearing(I think he knew that) so he talked loud to me...which did not make for a comfortable consultation.

It was somewhat difficult to understand my doctors' English. Otherwise, everything was positive. The clerks and doctor assistants were VERY good.

I had trouble understanding him.

He allowed his prescribing practices to be dictated by lab levels, hoping he would have evaluated the signs/ symptoms and quality of life in making a decision before saying that he could not treat me.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Chatterjee after having Dr. [...] for many years. I was so worried about losing Dr. [...]. I am so happy to say that I am completely relieved to be Dr. Chatterjee's patient. He is incredibly thorough and puts me very much at ease.

This is the first doctor I can remember who gave me treatment options and time to consider them, then stated, "It's your body and your decision." I don't think I have ever had a doctor remind me of these two important points. It changed how I thought about my condition, and I changed my own mind about which option to choose (which was his preferred one, but he allowed me the space to make it mine).

Felt like if my lab numbers were ok, he thought I should see my primary care if I didn't feel well.

He makes sure I understand what he telling me about my care. I don't feel rushed and he takes as much time as needed to go over everything.

Due to a lack of endocrinologists in Spokane, the initial wait for my first appointment was 6 months from my original diagnosis. Dr. Chatterjee requested testing to be done and his office scheduled an appointment 3 months out due to my test results. Dr. Chatterjee requested that I receive my prescription before our visit so I could begin having the medication begin to take effect. His team was considerate and tried to work with my schedule and the timeline Dr. Chatterjee requested. I felt listened to, and Dr. Chattejee explained to me how important it was to follow his prescription requirements. My only suggestion is to encourage more endocrinologists to come to Spokane, so that getting into see someone is easier and faster. I appreciate all Dr. Chatterjee did to help me get better even with the time constraints. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I sometimes have difficulty discerning Dr. Chattergee's accent. I am generally quite good at understanding accents. I asked him often to repeat. My husband, for instance, would have more difficulty understanding him. I feel confident in his skills.

Did not like having to wait several months to get an initial appt w/ Dr. Chatterjee. Only after my primary care phy received ultrasound results w/large thyroid nodules and then spent time trying to get me in sooner did I get an appt w/4 month wait.

Dr. Chatterjee has ordered a scan for me, but I am allergic to the dye as stated in my medical record. Although I expressed my concern, I felt that the physician didn't take my concern seriously. I was initially referred to a physician at [...], but that office said that they would not accept referrals from Providence. I was then referred to Dr. Chatterjee, and his office told me they were scheduling out to October - a 5 month wait. Luckily, there was a cancellation that allowed me to get in sooner. Dr. Chatterjee tells me that it is vital that I have this scan within the next few weeks - if there had been no cancellation, how would I have gotten care for my health issue?

I waited about 7 months to see Dr. Chatterjee and then after finally getting in, he said to eat cheese/yogurt for 3 months, do some tests 2 weeks before my next appointment and come back. THEN he'd see what to do about this problem. Why couldn't I have AT LEAST done the tests before this appointment, and had something started in my care now? It was bad enough to wait over 1/2 year to get in and then to get nothing done is wrong. Why would anyone want to pay for this? My back surgeon had even sent a letter to him to address my issues during/after my surgery. In total it will be over a year by the time something happens.

when I came to Dr. Chatterjee I had my concerns as I was going to Dr. [...] and she retired and referred me to Dr. Chatterjee. I knew from my first appointment that Dr. Chatterjee was going to be good. He came in and it was very apparent he had studied my chart and he had also conferred with Dr. [...]. He always takes the time to go over my chart with me asks questions and listens to what my concerns are. what I love is how after my examination he makes sure that I have understood everything he has told me. If I haven't he will explain it again. I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Chatterjee. it is always a good experience from when I get off the elevator to check in to when I am called back. His assistant [...] is personable but efficient. Again even with her no question goes unanswered. I feel blessed to have Dr. Chatterjee and [...] caring for me.

Doctor would not listen or understand my point of view on my problems. He said that he is not going to listen me and almost every time makes me to stop talking. There was no records of my disease or blood test up to date, he had old blood test result more then half year. Refused to take all blood work only recommended me taking [...], Which I had bad experience before, he doesn't want to listen me at all. Thinking all the patients is stupid. Very upset after waiting this appointment for 6 month. Very Bad.

Dr. Chattterjay and his staff are personable and approachable. I actually enjoy my visits there. They keep things positive and do not admonish or criticize in a negative way. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Chatterjay as my endocrinologist, and so closely located.
