One recommendation - printed or written instructions for exercises. pain & drugs made me forget instructions given verbally.

My surgery and subsequent care from this doctor and the team of Medical professions at Sacred Heart Hospital provided care far beyond my expectations.

after severely breaking my arm on 5th [...], hosp. referred me to surgeon who referred me on to dr. Clinton, a trauma surgeon who could not see me until the 9th. I then had to get additional authorization for tests and surgery confirmed which I had to make several calls to confirm. finally I was sched. for surgery on the 13th. All told it was 8 full days I walked around with an arm that was broken in 4 places!!!

the wheelchairs on site are old, with no leg raiser, the cushion for your butt feels like rocks & unacceptable. the post-op scheduler got the wrong date by 1 week which caused me more work to rectify & caused me more pain & suffering [...]. the surgeon's bed-side manners were nearly unacceptable. I felt bullied, however his surgical skills seem to be fine as I am recovering ok.

I immediately trusted this doctor to do surgery on me. I feel so privileged that he has GREAT bedside manner as well as being a top notch surgeon. I am so happy at how he had to make decisions during surgery to unexpected problems and I think he chose the correct course of action! I feel so much better after surgery just like he told me I would!
