Dr. Ellen is very quiet. it is hard to get information out of him. He seams to know what he is doing but does not give me much feed back.

He asked all of my questions and the office did their best to meet my needs since they had to wait for test results, but I was leaving town the next morning, and the test results needed to be returned for a prescription,

I have had a very difficult time when I call in. The telephone is always busy or there is no answer and no answering machine. It took 3 days to get through to make an appointment.

It is difficult to convey in the written form how well taken care of I felt through out my whole process. The receptionist was professional and yet personable .. making eye contact.. answer any and all questions.. clear and concise. This theme of personable yet professional behavior was carried out with each and every person I had come in contact with.. doctors, nurses staff... It was nice to just be ill and not have to play any games and know the people caring for you would do their best for you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

The provider is very conscientious in pursuing anything that might be of concern - even if it's just a concern of his.

Have only seen Dr. Ellen twice since he joined Providence, but he's been my urologist for several years. I am very aware that during those last two Providence visits, our mutual exchanges are brief and I am less willing to ask questions, because he is apparently obliged to type info into a computer during 90% of our appointment. I know he is a compassion physician, but I doubt that people I might refer would ever know that. would be able to sense his compassion.

Dr. was told that our pharmacy of choice was in Yelm. He prescribed medication and sent the order to Chehalis causing a two to three day in delay of my being able to take the new stuff.

The Nurse should be more specific regarding preparations before a biopsy, they give you a bunch of papers but, some are not easy to understand and when you call the office, they never call back.

Dr. Ellen's office staff and Dr. Ellen has always been professional and courteous to me. Like most doctor offices they sometimes get behind with patients but when Dr.Ellen does he and his staff always inform me and it doesn't happen often.

Referred to provider for specific condition from my PCP. 1st sent to Dr. Ellen's partner who doesn't treat what I have in his Urology practice. I waited 2 months for this 1st appointment. I then made an appointment with Dr. Ellen. Four months to be seen due to someone not looking at what my specific condition was and what my referral was for. Very disappointed in this.

Only complaint was provider moved office but did not notify us. Could not find new facility - call 3 times - phone only answered once to give extension but they did not answer either. We found facility by sheer luck but due to being late for appt. - had long wait to see doctor.

I have been seeing this provider for about 15 years as my urologist. I have always felt that he listens to my concerns and addresses them promptly. He is not my primary care physician, but he always sends reports to on my urology issues to to my primary care provider in a timely manner. I'm very satisfied with the care is receive.
