Since day 1 Dr. Olinger made me feel comfortable and explains everything. She is an outstanding doctor and I have total confidence in her.

I like my PCP's attention to detail and we work well together after an initial period of getting to know each other. I generally do not see her wash her hands or use gel before touching me, which is a concern, although I forget to mention it also while I am there.

This dr. is almost always in a hurry & seems to be over-scheduled. [...] I don't want to hear, "make another appointment" when my needs/questions don't get addressed, i.e., - more of my time and money! It's such a problem I'm thinking of changing doctors. But, she is very thorough.

She is always in a hurry, gets frustrated more & more when you ask questions, only wants to discuss only ONE thing per appointment even though I had called and asked for a longer appointments as I had a second item I was concerned about. This has been going on for a few years now, and I am planning on looking into moving to another doctor, since I have other doctors (specialists) w/ other facilities ([...] & [...]) and have NEVER felt so "rushed" as I do here [...]

She talked really fast, which made it difficult to understand her at times. [...]

I will not be returning to this provider. Provider did not gain consent or give a verbal explanation of what they were doing before performing a rectovaginal exam or bimanual exam. I had expressed to provider before having pap that I am not comfortable with pelvic exams. I guess I should've explained more clearly that because I am uncomfortable I hope she will be minimally invasive and give me a heads up (or if she has the extra seconds maybe even ask permission) before sticking her finger in my butt. That's super violating. And while I know some providers feel it's necessary every year and some only do it when the patient is having symptoms, I've never had a provider just go for it with no communication beforehand.

At one visit (thought it might be my cost) she was totally condescending & rude. I was not allowed to get a word in. SHe rattled on I felt overwhelmed. I decided to see another provider, but decided to give her one more chance. I told her on next visit. Her comment was, how am I doing now. & it was much better. I had never been yelled at & talked to by a provider like that in my 72 years -

My overall visit with the doctor was very good.

[...] quality time with patients seems less important than how many can be seen in the Providence System.

At my last appointment she was running late through no fault of hers. That seems to happen often. Maybe over scheduling is the problem.

Doctors need to make sure they make enough time to see a patient and listen to problems they have other than the ones they are seen for.

I received a brief vague explanation from my care provider as to why I had to wait so long before being seen. I felt that she was overwhelmed by the number of patients she had had to see? before seeing me. I left feeling that if more time was available for her, I may not have felt as if I was being rushed out of the exam room.

again I hate my Dr. I just deal with because it's so difficult to switch. right now I'm in the dark waiting to see if I have to have brain surgery... but Eileen just cares to lecture me and cut me off for other reasons then what I go in to see her for. I can't stand her lack of empathy, lack of bedside manner and her lack of important time frames to fill my prescription. she's always late in filling them and I'm bipolar...
