Elie Saikaly, M.D., M.M.M. is a board-certified medical oncologist who treats patients with all types of cancer and has a particular interest in the management of lung, head and neck cancers and has been practicing in the oncology/hematology field for 27 years. Dr. Saikaly works very closely with a team of surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical specialists to provide the best treatment and care for each patient with cancer. As part of the research team, Dr. Saikaly participates in clinical trials to better treatment strategies for cancer patients. At our institution, Dr. Saikaly actively participates in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network treatment guidelines to enhance clinical treatment planning. Cancer is a life-altering and frequently life-threatening disease. Dr. Saikaly’s personal philosophy is that every patient deserves the best available treatment –that means care that is state-of-the-art, compassionate, and individualized.
