dr. single is not very talkative. sometimes he should elaborate a little more on his decisions or opinions on your care.

[...] What he does have in his favor is he is good at what he does. He knows his stuff. He is a very nice Doctor. Listens. Has called me with results. Has followed through on my requests. He has been very helpful in my care.

I really like this Dr and tell everyone that I think he is a great Dr. I don't see him often as I haven't had many problems.

I think it would be good practice to discuss preventative measures when indicators are discovered rather than waiting until a disease develops in order to prescribe drugs & therapy.

hard to understand, explanations were confusing. Kept telling me I would feel so much better once I had burned my thyroid out...but I told him I have no symptoms and feel great! Did not have all the testing done be for the consultation. I wish I was informed I would need more blood work to make a diagnoses.

[...] Coming here from rural Texas, I am finding that the medical doctor/patient relationship is rather superficial It is due to the electronic record keeping, allowing little hands-on or even spontaneous conversation. My provider is not being criticized for he is a knowledgeable, gentle and caring person. and is simply doing as the medical profession does now. Leaving an office visit does not offer the same reassurances that it once did. Sadly, it is a sign of the times and something has been lost.

I have enlarged prostate but the doctor did not ask about symptoms or check prostate (not seen doctor for approximately 16 months). Doctor did call re: x-ray but I was unavailable at the time called back within 5 minutes and never received follow-on instructions regarding treatment plan as a result of x-ray. Mentioned shoulder pain and was told it might be related to age. No treatment plan prescribed re: pain or physical therapy.

May ?? have had a bad day. Seemed somewhat indifferent compared to prev visits. Like under an imposed time limit.
