I found her to be condescending and unwilling to listen to what I was saying.

I see the midwives at the Women and Children's Pavillion. I have to say that my experience is mostly good, but I have left feeling really badly about myself after seeing a few midwives and the way they talk to me about the weight I have gained during my pregnancy. They don't ask about what I eat and seem to just assume I eat unhealthy foods which I don't. I already struggle accepting my weight gain so to be made to feel I am doing something wrong has really impacted me. I have even considered leaving Providence. all of my labs and blood pressure have come back good and even the Providence nutritionist said there was no reason to be seen, yet the midwives continue to bring it up. I noticed there is an quote from Maya Angelou in one of the offices that's states that "people may not remember what you say or do, but they will remember how you make them feel." I have to say I don't think some of the midwives are demonstrating this in a positive way.

Jen was my main provider for both pregnancies. She was great both times. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Great! Felt like a person and not just a part of a job to do. Didn't feel rushed through. Very compassionate and professional.
