I believe good patient care is accomplished with good communication and a team approach. This team is comprised of the patient, their friends and family, their care givers - physician, nurse, therapists and PA - all working toward a common goal. That goal is frequently evaluated throughout the patient's experience, both preoperatively and post operatively, to achieve the best outcome for the patient. Good communication between all members is at the core of this experience.
